Creating Compassionate Digital Presence for End-of-Life Care
Carol Wales
Rosheka came to me with a business built in pieces. A logo here, a landing page there, an email sequence for one launch, a different system for the next. Each piece worked well enough on its own. Together, they didn't talk to each other.
We started with the logo — a gold foil half-disc with a crescent offset outline, quiet and considered, the kind of mark that doesn't need to shout. When Rosheka later asked about adding a female silhouette to it, I pushed back gently. The logo didn't need more. Instead, we created a standalone gold foil silhouette as a companion piece, so the identity stayed clean and the idea still had somewhere to live.
From there, the work grew. I built her a paid 21-day challenge called "21 Days Back To You" — Stripe payment flowing into Zapier into MailerLite, a 21-day email sequence, three live Zoom sessions along the way, and a Wix landing page written to hold the emotional weight of what the challenge actually asks of the women who join it. Then came her Weekly Backbone system, a standing rhythm of emails in MailerLite that keeps her list warm between launches, built around manual campaigns and a dynamic segment rather than the automations everyone defaults to, because that's what actually fit how she works.
Somewhere in the middle of all that building, we stopped and asked a different question: what is this all actually for? Rosheka's ideal client had evolved. Her brand direction had sharpened into something clearer: "Come back to yourself," speaking to strong, independent women rather than to everyone. So before adding anything else, I asked her what really happens in a coaching session with her: the safety, the honesty, the listening, the tools, the choice, the practice, the self-trust. She sent me a document that laid it all out, along with the exact language she never wanted her copy to use. That's what a lead magnet needs underneath it, not another download, but an honest bridge between what someone reads and what she actually offers on a call.
That's the work now: mapping her whole client journey as one connected system — website, lead generation, an assessment quiz, CRM segmentation, nurture, payment, programs, and back into the Backbone emails — instead of another disconnected piece bolted onto the last one.
The journey together continues…..
